I just submitted a test entry and it worked fine.
Edit - Were you trying to enter the flawnponderer? That's in the queue awaiting moderation.

Do I have to submit my entry by this Wednesday, or get my MOC submitted and approved by this Wednesday?

Entries need to be submitted by the contest deadline. Usually there are a number of last minute entries which the admins will approve during the week after the deadline.

I noticed this a few days ago actually. If you go to the prizes link in the first page of the CCCVI forum post and then try to click "submit an entry" it doesn't work from there. If you go to the main classic-castle.com page and scroll down and click the "submit an entry" in the update section it takes you to a page that looks exactly the same, but works fine.

Let me know if that doesn't make sense. :D

Fixed. There were initial versions of the rules and prizes pages which then got rewritten after the submissions page went live. Ben's initial post linked to the original pages. I've corrected the links in his initial posts. The old, incorrect link was:
http://www.classic-castle.com/events/co ... rizes.html
The new, correct link is:
http://www.classic-castle.com/events/cc ... test=cccvi
Let me know if anything else connects to the wrong link.

Can my entry's photo be 600x800 instead of 800x600, as my Moc is more tall then wide? I remember someone asking that, but can't find the question...

Yes. The max in one direction is 800 pixels and 600 in the other, but you can do it in either orientation.

Hello,
I apologize if something similar to this been asked previously, but I was wondering if I can include a small building, a tree, and footbridge used in a previous MOC in a much larger one that I'm finishing up tonight and would like to enter in the Castle category. I'd largely consider it a new piece, just with a small remnant of an older one. Is this acceptable for competition?

Not sure if Ben will see this in time to give an answer. Take photos both ways and submit them. The admins will discuss and let you know which version of the MOC is entered.

It is hard for us to tell without seeing the entries. Bruce has the right idea. Submit both for us to review. We will get back to you on which one qualifies.

Arhg, I left so much to the last minute here that by the time I had written out the entire second form, it just turned twelve. I think the first, bigger one made it through, the second one can be found here -

Hopefully it's not a problem anyway?

Thank you, Ben.
I do apologize for the extra trouble however, I now wish I had submitted the smaller version first and left it at that simply to rid of any possible questions to its validity.....

Bruce N H wrote: We would take into account if someone posted a horrid MOC simply to meet the 6-category requirement. While there have been participants in past CCCs who technically had 6 entries and so could qualify, the final Master Builder always came down to people with solid bodies of work. For instance, here's what I posted last year about the top three in the running for Master Builder.
I'm still a little confused.
I have entered 6 "solid" MOCs into 5 categories* - does this qualify me, even though I haven't entered 6 categories?

*I actually entered Wot's a Wock? into both Misc. and Secret Hideout - is that okay? If not, can it remain in just the Secret Hideout category? Thanks :D

Are you doing the entries in the order they were submitted? If so mine have gotten seriously lost. I submitted them 8 or 9 days ago, and only two of the five are up. Many entries that were not on Brickshelf when mine were submitted are up already. Do you think you can give us a list of what is waiting approval? Thanks!
