LED is non-LEGO, so I think it is obvious you can't use them...

Ahh, that's a good way of putting it. Still, I'd like an answer from architect to be sure. I was hoping I could do it for a special effect in my MOC perhaps.

With Christmas coming up, I wanted to use some spare lights.
Oh well, I can always do that in my non-entered version of the MOC, right?

Is it alright to use Troll/Orcs for the hidden hideout competition category?

I have a great idea for a MOC that I want to try.

Cheers

Can I use LED lights in my entries? I read the rules, and didn't see anything about it.

Thanks!
We have allowed creative lighting to be used in previous contest entries. Remember that your entry will be graded on the category requirements, creativity, playability, etc and not lighting, backgrounds, mist, etc.

Yes.

Thanks for the answer Architect. I was going to do it, since I thought it might be fun and neat.

Could we do a composite photo? I mean like a 800x600 photo that has smaller ones pasted inside?

You can only do this if it shows something that moves in your creation. Examples include trap doors or falling axes.

Hi!
I have a question:
Can I use in my CCC entry no-lego paper and ucut flex (like this http://peeron.com/inv/parts/75)?

I'm pretty sure that, as long as its made by TLC, it's fine. But then again, I don't know.

Anyhoo, I have a question: I know I can only use three photos, but does this mean only using three on the CC Topic or in the Flickr/Brickshelf galleries, as well?

In your gallery for judging you can only have three photos. Post as many as you want in a separate folder or in a thread announcing your MOC for discussion in the forums.

Flex tubing (either cut or uncut) is perfectly fine as that is a LEGO product and cutting flex tubing is established by LEGO (it's actually in some set directions). As far as non-LEGO paper, could you PM an admin with a photo or some more details? We've only allowed a very limited use of non-LEGO product in the past and would have to discuss it. If you use a LEGO product, though, it's fair game.

Do both scenes have to fit on one 48x48 or two 32x32 baseplates if i make two different scenes for the crime and punishment category? Or can each scene be 48x48?

Hey there, another day, another question!

Can I post my MOC on the forums here before I submit it, and then fix up anything later after I've gotten feedback, take new pictures, and then submit my entry?

Thanks!
