Unfortunately the chat software does not allow for password protected rooms.
These rooms are currently public. It is possible to make these rooms private (and thus hidden), but in order to gain access to these rooms an administrator must be in chat to invite members into these rooms.
Chat conversations are not publicly archived, so people entering a room cannot know what has been discussed.
For the time being these rooms will be public and we'll be on the honor system. If it becomes an issue then the rooms will be made public and a time will be scheduled to grant those involved access.

Give a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day.
Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Alright that's clear, I'm sure it'll work well enough without passworded rooms.
(it's an Aliencat attempt at a joke, for those Classic-Spacers that would get mad)
I don't think there will be any issues, after all this ain't Classic-Space, us castleheads can be trusted with stuff like thisSavaTheAggie wrote:For the time being these rooms will be public and we'll be on the honor system. If it becomes an issue...

I predict that these teams will be made up of a lot of European members due to the mid afternoonishness (US) of the sign-up time. Not that I have a problem with that, it's just my prediction.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

SavaTheAggie wrote: In order so that those who really want to participate may do so, on Wednesday, November 5th, sometime in the afternoon (US Central Time), I will post a sign up list. The first 30 members to sign up on the list will entered into the challenge, with 6 members per team (get it? - CCCVI, 6 members per team, get it? get it?). From those names, the members will be divided evenly and fairly between the Admins. If they so choose, the Admins may choose a team captain.
