I also would like to congratulate everyone and thank the admins for the contest, but I would also like to discuss (and share my opinion) the winning entries, as this thread is about discussion as well.

Aliencats Herrenbosh: What a great idea to build a castle in that star form, and the outcome was outstanding. I really hoped that entry would make the day.

Perfect Life: (from Tom) would have been my personal favorite. Look at what he wrote and then what he built. It shows an idyllic, peacefull scenery, almost paradise, but there is death coming, the black death, the plague in form of the ripper and it is true: he took away without remorse: a father would have lost his entire family, a child its parents. No mercy and no distinction of age or social status. We sometimes tend to forget the pest when we think about the medieval ages. It is a danger that even nowadays is immenent. And this Moc really shows the fear and the antagony of life. Well done Tom! By the way Mr. TS would be my favourite for the Master Builder followed by the runner up DNL.
Armothes Bishop: well when Armothe is at work we may all flee. Maybe Armothe can give us some lessons how to make plastic parts by writing an article for Classic Castle.com?
Slavers Lucky Day: (by Micah)although it does not really capture the topic of crime trial and sentence in an ideal way, this is one of my really favorite Mocs. It is simply beautiful.
Legohaulics enry as well as Toms winner entry were very nice indeed. Pardon me and no offense to anyone, but I did not get the meaning of "Life for a King", but I would say that is just taste.
Ok that is enough for now, have to get back to work

Fantastic choices, all.

(On a side note, I'm pretty jazzed to see a Wolfpack themed winner).

Looks great. Congratulations everyone!

I was especially impressed by the amount of non-perpendicular placements of buildings, stairs, turrets, etc. Some of those creations were just packed with detail.

Awesome work, Tom. Your MOCs are incredible. I knew that the first week I joined the forum. You've earned your Master Builder title and you're truly an inspiration to all of us. Keep up the top-notch work. :D

Congrats MrTS! You set the bar high from the beginning of the contest, and rocked it all the way through.

Congrats MrTs! Your creations were really amazing and I enjoyed them. The haunted ballroom was by far my favorite. :)
