Lord Sava of Aggie's CCC VI Contest Challenge Results

Postby SavaTheAggie » Tue Jan 27, 2009 7:48 pm

I have tallied the scores and there is a clear winner in my CCC VI Contest Challenge.

First let us go over once more how the points were scored: For each time a team member's name appears in the list of winners and runners up in the CCC VI contest winner's page, that team gains one point. There is no bonus if a team member won the category.

So unless I have made an error, here are the final scores:

Team Mnementh: 5 points (disqualified)
Team JoshWedin: 0 points
Team Bruce_N_H: 6 points
Team Architect: 3 points
Team SavaTheAggie: 3 points (disqualified)

The two disqualified teams were disqualified as per the challenge rules because one of the teams members did not enter any MOCs into the contest. Even including the disqualified teams, however, there is a clear winner.

Congratulations to Team Bruce_N_H!

Bruce will now decide on his teams prize - a special unique forum title of his choosing.

I'd like to thank all who participated, I hope it was a fun experience.

It was fun and exciting until the day the winners were announced!
I hope we have a cool gimmick like this again next year, I had a great time communicating with my teammates about our various entries, and it really did help a lot to have a team to help improve little things here and there. Little things we might otherwise have overlooked.
I would be very careful who I share my Work-in-progress entries with, if everyone else runs in a contest against each other, but with the knowledge my teammates would also benefit if my entry is good, I was more than willing to share everything and more with them, and take into account their opinions.
I really feel this added a lot to the contest!

This was really fun. I hope we do this next year.

Success!!! Congratulations, my teammates, on a well deserved victory. I shall bask in the glory for ages to come (though I didn't actually contribute pointswise  )

According to statistics, only one person got those six points for our team: DNL. I thought I'd inform you that you were not the only one on Team Bruce that did not do brilliantly.

Haha! Those who doubted will now pay the price! Good thing we had Daniel, he got all of our points!

Great competition. I think that it inspired some great entries, along with just the contest in general. Next year?

I needed some good news before finals tomorrow...

Congratulations, Team Bruce. But beware, though we were disqualified, Team Troy may yet usurp you in later contests! (although I think all our points were accumulated by one person as well).
May the blessing of the Lord be upon you. <><

Congratulations to all of the members of Team Bruce (DNL especially). You have all been given the special rank of Illuminator (that's the monk who speciallized in making the little illustrations in manuscripts). Thanks for bringing glory and honor to my good name. :D
