Those are great prizes! I am considering entering this contest. If so, then this will be my first building contest and/or Castle MOC. I can only hope to measure up...

Oh, I was wondering how our entries will be 'graded' Does the quality and exellence of building matter, or is it the idea of the job. I am just asking this because I barely have any lego bricks. Thanks!

7. Custom parts are only allowed on minifigures, animals, or their accessories.
Does this mean that we cannot make custom signs or flags for our new jobs? I am not sure if accessories includes signs. Thanks!

Both the idea, and the excellence of the building will be graded. The idea itself is only half the job, how you execute it is equally important.

Custom printed signs and flags are indeed allowed, but moderately. You can put a printed sign or a printed flag somewhere, but don't go slapping custom stickers over your entire building ;)

The Sanitizers:

Ever since the Crownie Prince died after slipping onto a dirty sword and falling prey to an infection, The Sanitizers have been hard at work cleaning and sanitizing everything used in castle life.

Water is poured into buckets, which are heated to boiling over a massive flame. Once boiling, the water is poured into troughs that funnel the water into four barrels with special cleaning products already inside. The water flows out the barrels and onto the dirty item, today a bloody spear, which is scrubbed by two workers. When clean, the item is rested to dry, then transported by white pillow to the clean room where it waits for its next use.

This MOC was inspired by my wife, a minor germaphobe. I made custom minifigures and flags for this creation.

Pit Crew

Post by nanuck95 »

I think the title is mostly self explanatory. I thought it would be fun to create a chariot race, and build a medieval pit crew for my job to go along with it. The "jack" and the grease-monkey are my favorites and I really had a lot of fun creating the fans as well, I hope you enjoy it!

Here is my first entry.

On a small farm far away from everyone, a lone farmer goes out one sunny day to harvest his crop. But this is no ordinary crop, for he does not grow grains, nor vegetables. So what does this strange farmer grow, why weapons of course.

Entry 2 Haha, this was a fun one to make :D I have lots of other good ideas though.

"Ye Olde Toilet Salesman"

Image

Marv the Salesman never really knew why his business never got off the ground. The strange vacant faces of the populace never seemed to deter his love of flushing goodness....

OK, an entry from me too...

The Falcon Airlines Cabin Crew

The Dwarves have always been renowned for their great craftmanship, haven't they? So of course no one was surprised when they took to the air in the seemingly never-ending war against the trolls. However, the shock of seeing the trolls follow up into the skies far made up for that. Maybe that is why the victory of the trolls was so quick and devastating, it was only a matter of months before their mechanical monstrosities (referred to as "the Falcons" by the trolls themselves who didn't at all enjoy the description "mechanical monstrosities", they were proud of their airships, mind you) had wiped out all kinds of resistance. And now all was well in the jungle you'd say, no? In fact it wasn't, for years and years the trolls debated, bickered and fought about what to do with their dear mechanic.... Falcons until one day their greatest chieftain came up with a solution that was so easy and brilliant that it would take trolls alone to not think of it from the start. They would use the Falcons for transport in their new vast empire of course! And thus, The Falcon Airlines was born. A blessing for the troll owners who indeed became rich as trolls, as well as for the various inhabitants who really had tired of walking and riding on horseback - and not the least for the soldiers in the old army who were once again needed. For what is a plane without its cabin crew?

Image

So, what does the cabin crew do? Why, they are there to serve the needs of their passengers of course, not to mention being responsible of the safety onboard - demonstrating "life jackets" and all that, even though the trolls personally believe life jackets are for whimps.

Image

It also deserves saying that despite the huge success of the Falcon Airlines there have been complaints about the rough dealings on board but that's something the trollish cabin crew find natural. And come on, with all those weirdoes from across the world cramped together like that you'll have to expect some action, no?

Image

Enjoy!
