Job Mullers Contest
Recycling Centre
Hi, I'm a recycling sorter. I sort the glass from the metals, and break down old wheels to be made into expensive reclaimed-timber furniture.
Last year we reduced the volume getting into the landfill by 42%, so we're on our way to recieving the King's Environmental-Protection award.
We have also reduced the pewter levels in the leechate reaching the local stream.
Our message is a Global Warning - this conspicuous consumption must stop, we must lead a more peasant life - we can't all have the latest blue-grey helmet, or this season fashion shield!

So.. there are plenty of stores where you can bring your broken stuff to to have it repaired again... but where do you take your (or someone else's!) perfectly good items to have them professionally demolished? No need to look further than ye olde disrepair shop, run by town's finest wrecking crew ready to forfill all your devastating demands.

The Weather Controller
This is the weather controller. He controls the weather for the entire region. In his workshop he has loads of elements. All kinds of clouds, suns, moons, all sorts of rain and even lightning. Sometimes he even produces a hurricane with the windmaker.
The chimney has four entrances. One for every wind direction. With the regulation machine in front of the chimney he can finetune the weather directions, then he takes a weathertype and puts it in the right chimney entrance.
After that, the chiney sucks it up and spits it out at the top, that's how the weather gets to the right region.
Yes folks, that is how it's done
It looks like the South is getting a sunny day today!

The Royal Iron Men
When the king needs his cloak to be ironed, he visits the Iron Brothers. But how do they smooth out the kings cloak, without a flat-iron? Well, leave it to the oldest Iron. It takes him just half an hour and his... backside.

Flower soother & Rogue Flower Bashers
In the Kingdom of Old, flowers aren't as friendly as the flowers we know and love. Flower soothers are employed to keep them under control, but not all areas can affors a Flower soother, and must turn to the Rogue Flower Bashers to keep them safe from bloodthirsty flowers.

The Bread Collector, or "Bring Out Your Bread!"
My job muller entry is inspired by Monty Python and the Holy Grail. But this isn't the Dead Collector, this is the Bread Collector, and he's just met up with an unsavory fellow who is trying to pawn off somebody's grandfather as a loaf of bread.

I like LEGO Stuff. I have a blog called BricksABillion, a webcomic called The Brick Side, and I do some freelance artwork at Duckingham. And I am sad that there are only 24 hours in a day.

Here is my second entry.
Hard at work on a grassy field far away from the Weapons Grower the workers of this job are so busy they don't see their boss walk in. But who are these workers, well they're construction workers, what else.

My entry is called 'The king's anachronism hunters'.
The king has hired Joppe and Tjebbe, the two best anachronism hunters of his realm to hunt down anachronisms. They travel the land with their pair-horse carriage. As soon as something pops up that's not supposed to be there in their era, Joppe and Tjebbe are sure to catch it with their big array of tools and weapons - they are up to anything!
All anachronisms are collected in the carriage, and when it is full, it is time to burn those damned inconsistencies. Two of the king's knights see to it that everything is burned properly.
Alas, this time something is going wrong. Joppe and Tjebbe thought they really killed the big android - but apparently they only managed to put it on standby, and when it is unloaded, it comes alive again and tries to run off. Will our heroes manage to capture it, or will the space-time continuum be disturbed forever?
All images link to their big versions.
Here is the set on Flickr:

Don't mind the 'date posted', I changed the year in order to not have these pictures up front in my photostream. The 'date taken' should be alright.
edited out a typo. I did not replace photos

Hey everyone!
Thanks a lot for taking your time to build all these great entries! I am most pleasantly surprised by what you've come up with, and how many entries we ended up with in total.
We have now reached the deadline for this contest, so entries will not be accepted anymore from this point.
Now the hard process of judging all this awesome stuff starts. We don't exactly know when we'll be done judging, there are more entries than expected, but it shouldn't take more than a few days for us to figure out who the winners are.
Thanks to all entrants for making this a great contest!
