Steve is on a Forum Rampage!

Oh no! Steve is on a rampage on the forum! You may have noticed several forum members have already been squished!

Image

Steve's anger is great, and I fear we may not be able to stop him! Fortunately, I've known Steve for a long time, and I know he really isn't a bad guy, he's just... misunderstood. In order to stop his forum rampage, I believe we'll need to make sure he's got some friends who do understand.

Image

Steve needs some cousins. Build him some! If we're going to have a chance at stopping his rampage we'll need to see several new cousins, but note - do not copy Steve!* Change the colors, change the design, turn him upside down! Whatever it takes to quell his great anger...

...or else...

Post your Steve Cousins to the MOC forum or to this thread. Hopefully the attacks will stop as soon as a few Cousins start showing up.

We've been warned...

--Tony

*Feel free to build your own exact copy of Steve, it's just an excuse to have you build different versions.

A word of note in building a Steve exactly the way I built him - the hip joints may not hold up the weight of your creature on their own - it'll fall forward most likely. To overcome this you'll need to add friction to the pins by means of a very small bit of plastic wrap folded over on itself and then pushed in the hole so that it surrounds the technic pin. This will allow it to still rotate but it will be a very tight joint.

You can of course build it without it, or feel free to redesign it. Who knows, I may copy it.

Hey Tony,

Good to see Steve again...
Here is my old post of Pedro :)
I did not have instructions a the time so the design is a bit different but the basic Idea is 100% Steve.

So what you are saying is that in order to get un-squished I need to build up an ogre?

Forcing me to build, eh Tony...? :tasty:

Why me?

I never did nothing to no Steve.

Ah well, maybe I'll track down a relative for him, who knows, we shall see.

This is Steve's cousin Graygor. Music soothes the savage beast, but this music is not of the soothing sort. Graygor likes to shred and thrash. In this picture, he's playing something from Slayer. He's not real happy that Quickblade has been 'squished' either, so someone is gonna have to pay after he puts the guitar down.
