Thanks a bunch for running this contest. Yet again a contest got me building when I otherwise would not have. And this time I really had fun trying something completely new!

*EDIT* Oops, I just saw the scale request for pics. The folder is already submitted and waiting for mod on Brickshelf, but if you would like I will scale them all down and re-submit, just let me know.

Well people, the time has come. Time to lock 'er up and set in for a wait.

The MCC V is over. Done. Finished. You may all start baiting your breath.

I will hopefully have the judging done within the next week or so. Stay tuned on this thread for details. Great job done by all participants, it will be a tough judge. And thank you all for your participation, and thanks again to the prize donators.

Wow i love the effect, reminds me of the final scene in the mummy 2 where the temple is swallowed up by the land. Good job!

All right, the ballets are in. Sorry about the lateness of the judging...it was so difficult, with all the amazing, butt kicking entries! Seriously, to all who entered, give yourselves a huge round of applause, the quality of this year was just unbelievable. The contest is always a small one (pun intended) but the skill in it is never such. Thank you to all who entered, and thank you to the truly awesome prize givers, wobnam in particular.

Alright, on to the winners.

In the Miniature Set category, the two runner-ups are:

Nanuck95 with his version of 6073 - Knights Castle.

Image

Griffon with his version of 6080 - King's Castle.

And the winner of the category:

Bartosza6m with his version of 6081 - King's Mountain Fortress.

For the main category, the runner-ups are:

Marcosbessa with his Running up that Hill:

Wunztwice with his Micro Lego Castle:

Mahj with his Temple:

Third place goes to:

So there we go. Your winners for the Mini Castle Contest V. Winners, please contact me with your mailing addresses. Everyone else, please give the winners a big round of applause.

Wow! All well deserved winners, congrats to all of them! There were certainly some interesting and useful techniques I spotted this go-around :twitch: I don't know if I can keep up with all of this...

At any rate, I never envied you your choices Dan, but I think you've done very well in picking!
