Like entering a ship and then puting it in a bigger MOC like a harbor?

Yes you can use part of another entry, but only for the miscellaneous category (which does not have a size limit). However, keep in mind that all previous Misc entry winners have been completely unique mocs.
My second question is: Does the castle MOC that you build out of parts of a official set (in the Alternate Universe category) have to be a medievel castle MOC or can it be set in a modern time period with a castle in it?

Thanks! I have had a jolly time building MOCs for your contest.

No. The castle moc should be set in medieval times.

Funny... :? Forum ate my post...
If this is a DP I apologise in advance.

The folders for my two entries are now public. Should I re-submit them, or not?

Same goes for a third and final entry I submitted today.

Lego Muji
Half origami, half Lego.
Would this be valid to integrate into a MOC for this contest?
I'm considering making a curved wall out of card, built into a brick-built building, with brick-built door-frame etc.
My concern is that it may introduce too great an element of customization or a non-Lego aspect to the contest; is Muji better off left as a derivative of Lego, but not accepted in standard rules?
However, the permissibility of custom cloth and paper elements (as sails), and also System use of Muji-esque techniques (such as the roof in Hagrid's Hut) make me think that perhaps this would be allowed?

Since these sets are not yet widely available to LEGO fans worldwide, we would prefer that they are not used in this years CCC contest. The admins will consider allowing it in the future if the sets are widely available.

I have a question about the size rule in the Fantasy castle and Brick castle category.
It says:
The minimum size of a castle should be 32x32 studs.
Is that the minimus size for the castle and it surroundings, like for the total moc?
Or for the castle buildings?
I don't want to spoil anything, but I see entries that are smaller than 32x32 and it makes me wonder.
I'm kind of struggling with the size and maybe that is not necessary.

Technically the castle and landscaping could be 32x32. However larger mocs will likely work better for the castle categories.

Okay I have a question. I have four entries so far and only three are listed under me. The only reason I can find for this is that in the one seperate entry I capitalized my name and the rest are lower case. Can this be fixed and does is disqualify the lone entry for masterbuilder?

We will be able to figure out that the other entry is by you. However you do need to enter at least six categories to be eligible for the master builder prize.

Wednesday January 16th, 2010. That date doesn't exist. So... when will the contest winners be announced?
Be the miracle!
Every-one can do it, but only the fearless can be great!

Oo, clever. I didn't realize that the date didn't match the day - I just figured someone was being overly optimistic. :orc:
