Brilliant! A simple masterpiece! The only thing I think I can compare it to is Ulmaris.

However, just because I'm like that (sorry to burst all you happy people's bubbles), but I found something kind of off about it. In this photo, the lady walking down the stairs: is there supposed to be a door at the top of the stairs, or is it just a sort of pedestal for her to stand on?
Woe is me, woe is me, I used to have a hamster tree. Then it got eaten by a newt and now I have no cuddly fruit.

It is not visible, but the next stairs behind the lady, between the white house and large tower, leads up to the back portion of the two houses. There's a doctor e.g..

Really lovely city. That little roof of cheese slopes, and all the angles and great architechture is just amazing!

This is completely fantastic. As Robin Hood said, you've quite excellently packed just enough detail in there without going overboard. I can't even pick out a favourite details because it's all so nice. That said, the triangular cheese slope roof totally caught my eye. :tasty:
...and that's how Equestria was made!

Hey,

I've really been enjoying looking through this as well. This is, hands down, the best MOC I've seen in a year.

To join the chorus of well-deserved approbation: this is an excellently-conceived and -executed MOC, and truly inspiring. Thanks! I hope you think that the seven months was worth it - personally I'm impressed that it didn't take longer.

Wow, amazing!
What a scene, what an effort. Awesome job here Michal!
I love how alive you've made the whole place look. Not just the minifigs, but also the way the buildings fit together. And you know I have a weak spot for angles like the ones you used. Great stuff!
Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs

When a MOC is simply amazing there are too many details to point out. But all I can say is WOW!

Aliencat: I love angles, too. That's why your Herenbosch is an unique castle for me :)

Love it!!! After this I'm never building a square castle again. It's angles are superb, and the use of tiles couldn't be more appropriate. If I was to pick a favorite part, I'd still need to pick three :D . Those three would be the (God?) statue in the gateway, the banister with the turntables in it, and the shack with the cheese-wedge roof. Sorry for your loss, but if i were to die tomorrow, I can think of few better things that could compare to being remembered in this castle.

Edit: Forgot to ask, do the buildings have interiors?

Is this Herenbosch the big crusader star fort?
And again, really beautifull city.
