Hi there

A lot of firsts:
- First post in this forum.
- First MOC I built in over 10 years.
- First contest I take part in.
I have retrieved my boxes of (completely unsorted, argh!) LEGOs just a few weeks ago from the basement of my parents, then spent a week sorting them into basic categories and started building about two weeks ago. You might be able to tell that all bricks used are quite old.
Things I'm happy with:
Giant Laser becomes giant dragonhead catapult. I built that head in less than 20 minutes and then tried to improve upon it for another hour, but actually changed very little.
Heads on spears.
Monorail becomes bridge, Lava becomes water and helicopter becomes ambushed cart. That cart uses more than 50% of all brown parts that I own
Coming up with the idea to use wrench-ends as pointy sticks to prevent intruders from climbing the main gates, replacing the barbed wire.
Things I would have liked to improve: Bley (or some other colour) instead of black, but I do not have any bley bricks. Less black, more grey, but I ran out of grey bricks when I tried this. Some crazy building techniques. Some more colours, but then, I only have black, grey, yellow, red and blue bricks, with very few formerly white bricks. No fancy teal, brown or green. Also very few flat plates. The golden sword and crown on the picture are probably some of the newest parts I actually own. Still, I had a ton of fun building it and spent a few sleepless nights over it. A bit more polish would have been nice, it feels a bit rough. But I am out of time
Sorry for the hack-job at editing it. I seriously need a better camera to take pics without sunlight than my old compact from 2004.
Thanks for doing this contest.

Re: The Time Twisters Contest
I'm really excited to see all these awesome entries!
There's a little under 3 hours left to enter, so if you've got something that's almost finished, finish it now and post it here!

Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs
