Anyone know the part number for the camel saddle? The flickr note says it's a "Fabuland saddle" but I'm having a hard time finding anything on Bricklink.

where did he get all the pieces?>

Where did he get all those new arches? I dont see any of the pop sets with the tan arches, just the caramel ones, and there are only 4 white ones in the alamut castle set. Did he paint these, or order them from lego digital designer?

He probably got them from bricklink.com. You can view the specific color and piece here.

And the Grand Emporium does have a few in tan though too.

It is a great MOC, without question. And since I build mainly in Islamic architecture, I take particular interest in seeing that there are actually some others out there doing so. Yes, buy yourself some PoP sets - I've long hoped that their launch would spur some work in these styles.

My favorite detail is the use of the headlight bricks to simulate tilework. That's a nice touch. The vaulting detail using the graduated archway is really pretty, too.

Just FWIW, it's not an "arabian" MOC, though.

Best,

The way he blends the colors and tones together is just stunning! :twitch: PoP alternates are going to be a hit I just know it.

I might just have to use a modified version of that headlight concept for a tapestry or something in a castle. Thats a really cool build.
