Wow, gotta' love all these awesome creations coming out of Slovenia. I love the little details all over the Castle. Very accurate to the real thing as well. But I'm wondering what the little brown fence-like things near the Castle are...Anyway, very nice job Neven!

Looking at pics of the real thing, I think the one platform set some steps down from the main platform is a place for tourists to go to take pictures. You can see it here (and notice it does have a brown railing).

Then in this picture you can see there is a little fenced-in region in the grass down the slope from the main approach. Not sure what's going on there. Perhaps this is, again, to protect tourists, as below that the slope gets steeper, or maybe they stage exhibition jousts there or something.

BTW, in going back and forth from real pics to the LEGO pics, you can see that he has a really good match to the source. The placement and relative size of the windows, for instance, is spot on. Also that bit of red where the crest used to be painted on the wall but has since faded.

Ok, thanks.

Also, the Castle kind of reminds me of Helm's Deep how there are caves inside the Castle. :tasty: Very cool design of the Castle itself too. Good job medieval architects!

That's exactly what I was thinking!

Great recreation of the castle.

I love it. It's a wonderfull castle, and the small one really looks like it!
I also really like the rockscaping, the use of jumper plates (?) make it look really good.
