Those are just gorgeous! One thing I am particularly impressed with is the use of those 3 leaf pieces in a tree. They are perfect but I have always been stumped on the way to stick them up there.
I love the patterns all over the floors as well. WEll done on a simply beautiful MOC.

Thanks Blake! The leaves just stuck right on to the normal tree pieces. I really liked the effect it made. They stayed on fairly well too... several times my 3 yr old decapitated the whole green section from the tree trunk, and once the baby even got his hands on it, and only one of the leaf pieces fell off. Not bad, considering.

Uh oh... the baby's trying to help me type now too... Better stop before this is all deleted!

So it is easy to put together?! Praise the Lord I am Saved! You don't know how many hours I've spent doing(or fixing) trees. They are a royal pain.

On a more relevant note though, Your patterns are incredible!!! Though all (except 1) are 2D I would love to hook you up with like 50 Super Earlings and see what you can do with them.
I absolutely love how most of them you build off of a bunch of those headlight bricks or a couple Earlings. You have an incredible mind for the patterns of bricks.
Also love how you post your kids creations as well. Not many people will do that.

Thanks! Yeah, the trees weren't hard to do -- I could be more specific about how I did it if you'd like, but the general idea is just to stick those plants on the generic tree parts.

I'm not sure what the Earling parts are? Are they the ones with the studs on all the sides? Or... the ones with studs on two sides and that might make them look like ears? That might make some sense. And then a Super Earling would be one with studs on all four sides? Maybe?

Yeah, I haven't done much that's 3-D. Pretty much nothing, as you noticed. I haven't developed that much yet, I guess... I'm still working through the 2-D patterns. They all develop one after another in a chain of ideas, and none of those have managed to go 3-D yet. But I might get there some day.

Yeah that is exactly right. Many people don't know this element. It is the only LEGO element named after a designer. The Earling http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?col ... emID=46343 has studs on 3 of 6 sides. Great work and I hope to see them in your work.
