Sneak peek, before removing the background (you can click the pictures for larger versions):
Image
This is one wing of Ched Nasad, the church of Lloth, spider queen, entrance, connected with the wall (bridge) with "Devil's Keep", a tower called by the city full of devils that tried, in ages, to conquer Ched Nasad, but never succeeded, and finally, being destroyed. I will write more about this keep and this church when I make one final presentation :)

It is common opinion that Ched Nasad is destroyed, and that city is in ruins, but this is not the case: Drow have been building, and rebuilding hard, and restored beauty and shines of city's previous glory
But, you can not hide anything from a girl, we all now that, but imagine that your girl is a paladin? She can read you AND sense your aura :)
So, paladins know about flourishing of the Drow city, and girls are on the rampage!

My girls: (Sword Sisters - Paladin's party), picture taken by a talented painter Prism before attack (anybody remembers Prism from Baldurs Gate 1? I've just came to think about him :))

And at the end, entrance to the male fighter society (best seen large):

Actually, I do not want to end yet: this is entrance tower, imbued with powerful Drow magic

Now, at the end, Drow sorcerer with Thrall, Druegar and she-Orog

This is looking really impressive! Wow! ;-) I really love the shapes and formations that you can see in the pictures of the overall city. They are very evocative of fantasy worlds. What am I trying to say? That I like the feelings I get looking at this, because I think it would be great to enter into that fantasy world. I think that's what I mean. ;-)

The sheer size of the castle is impressive !
It's very detailed build, with lots of lovely figs.
There are some really neat structures in there !
Keep brickin !

Not to flood with another thread: these are my entries for Realistic and Fantasy Castle Figure; they will all be part of a big display with this castle anyway ;)

Jeanne d`Arc (Saint Joan of Arc or The Maid of Orléans)
ImageImage

Marko Kraljevic

Image
Marko Mrnjavčević was Serbian king from 1371 to 1395. In Serbian epic literature, he was known as Kraljevic Marko, hero known by his wits, bad temper, honor and justice, mustaches and grudge against Turkish invaders. As every hero, he was protector of the weak and helpless.

Also, he loved to fight with "topuz", similar to morning star (a mace), and rode on a horse named Sarac.

It is famous how he ploughed the roads and then punished Turkish soldiers that step on it "More Turci ne gaz'te oranje"

Also (and that is on the picture), he used to share his drinks with his horse Sarac (like old pals:) "drinking half, other half giving to Sarac"; "pola pije, pola Sarcu daje"

I remember that my mother used to say about me, when I was just a kid, and she gave me milk to drink, and I spilled a lot of it drinking: "Half you drink, half goes to the Sarac" :)

and two more last minute enteries for Fantasy Castle Figure:

Vargouille:

Image

Baatezu:
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Angel ... aatezu.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Angel ... atezu2.jpg Baatezu are the lawful evil fiendish natives of the Nine Hells of Baator. This particular one is summoned to defend Drow city Ched Nasad from girl-paladin invaders. We can see its familiar qauzit Wingnut (small one with deer horns).

Its head-shaped shield is somehow strange to us, but it is common fashion for the demons of the Underdark.

It also does not like being asked a question, because it never lies, being lawful evil creature.

little edit:
I've spend hours trying to attach those dragon wings to batman wings and then everything to minifig :)

Anyhow, I try to make custom minifigs totally playable (the parts are holding tight), as well as I do not like modifying Lego bricks (neither cutting nor painting), so everything can be dissembled and used again later, and, if you wish, you can play with them (for example, that big Bellville crown has a pin that goes perfectly in whole for plume:)

And here's something else ;)

the tail is new hair from brickforge
(from Ched Nasad's minifigs)

Very unique layout. Not every day you see castles with that kind of architecture. The red and black (along with the minifigs) give it a diabolical appearance. Great work!

I think that if some of my minifigs had nightmares, this is kind of what they would like. Very creative in your figure and castle design. I like the "clear" pictures, without any tint or colored lighting. For me it gives a better view of the castle.
