I know you're littered with questions, but I'm wondering for the miscellaneous contest can you submit a past moc from earlier this year before the contest was announced?

And another question. Can there be any Viking themed mocs in the contests? (I've been building alot of these lately)

From the rules: "You can not submit any creations posted online or shown in public before November 1st, 2010."

If it's been sitting around your house but you haven't posted it online or brought it to some sort of LEGO event, go ahead and enter it.

Sure, probably best in the miscellaneous category, but you could also imagine Vikings preparing for war, repairing their ships, raising cows etc.

Could I post a MoC in this contest and in a Contest on Flickr ?
The pictures aren't shown before (built today/yesterday) and the photos aren't even taken.
I'd be happy over fast reply !
You can see my MoCs on my Flickr Account and you can see them also on my Blog where you also can read the stories behind the MoCs...but in german.

Alright, here is my question. For the Custom Fantasy figure catagory, can I make a character from a book/movie? Or do I have to come up with my own character?

I've re-read the rules, and I think that this is ok: I've created thread (here) before 1st November, but haven't (yet) posted any actual pictures of the castle. I am just saying, because I plan to use (edit) post that was made before first November, just to give heads up and leave something writen before actual posting :)

Yes, you may.

You are allowed to create a character from a book or movie as long as that character is fantasy-based.

That is fine. I looked through the thread and there are no pics of the actual castle, so you are good.

Does a "Castle Evolution" entry have to be a castle?
-Morgan

And so he slipped into the forest, vanishing without a trace, leaving his pursuers lost without ideas, while he went to finish his MOC's.

Is it not allowed to build an existing castle in the realistic castle category?
There is a beautiful castle in my town which I really want to build.

No. But at least one of the three scenes has to take place in medieval times.

We are not looking for exact copies of actual castles. Feel free to build a castle inspired by the one in your town.

Is there something wrong with the entries page? It won't show submissions. Or does it only display them after the contest is over?

Entries are only displayed after they are approved by an Admin. Be patient. The contest is still young. ;)
