Colossal Castle Contest 9: Winning Entries

Post by architect »

Congratulations to all of the winners in the Colossal Castle Contest IX! Thank you to all entrants for your wonderful creations built for the CCC. These creations inspire us and the entire castle community every year!

http://www.classic-castle.com/events/co ... nners.html

The scores were very close so we have provided an Honorable Mention for the top five entries in each category that did not win. Please contact Ben Ellermann by private message or email if you won a category so we can ship out the prizes! The Master Builder prize will be announced in a few days.

Discuss the winning entries in this thread.

Castle category:

I agree with the winner selected here, but I strongly disagree with three of the honorable mentions.

Owl Castle
Greywall Castle
Falworth Keep
Schluchtwall Castle
Brickenheim

The first two are fine, but after that it goes south. Those last three have no place in the HMs.

Anyway, there's my mini-rant.

Congrats to the winners!!

Congrats to all of the extremely deserving winners and honorable mentions! Also, thank you to all of the judges and administrators/moderators who helped to put this contest on for another terrific year. We'll see you all in 10 months!

Also, thanks for the honorable mention for my very first CCC entry. I can't wait to take what I've learned and bring it back for another entry next year!

Oh WOW! This was my first CCC and I'd like to thank everyone who entered for making this a very enjoyable contest. There were so many great entries that it couldn't have been easy to judge them all, so thanks to the judges and admins as well.

Congrats to all the other winners, and here's looking forward to CCCX.

Yeah my thoughts exactly. EVERYONE worked very hard on their entries and they are all there on merit.
Fair enough if you don't agree that but don't go posting your insulting views on others hard work
