LCC-Lenfald Local challenge, Fortify the forest, Blade Peak.

My last minute entry to the Fortify the Forests challenge, I give you Blade Peak:

Blade Peak. by ElderonEldar, on Flickr

Blade Peak is one of many towers along the Lenfel coast line, to let sailors know they are in Lenfel waters and therefore have to abide Lenfel law. Blade Peak is close to the former Elven town of Isil Oro, and has been built by Elves during the Dawn of Man.

Velaryon, and his friends, are hired by lord Aswald, to guard his chest holding some sort of treasure that is destined for Isil Oro, for the great feast that will be held there. Velaryon does not know what is in it, just that he gets a hefty sum when he gets to the port of Isil Oro.

Sir Bowin of Standfast. by ElderonEldar, on Flickr

They sail past the tower of Blade Peak and are greated by sir Bowin of Standfast, a knight who holds command over a small platoon of naval soldiers.

Yet another chapter in the life of Velaryon, the former heir of Strongborough.

I know it is not really in the forest, but I figured since we are a naval faction, we need to have our coast defended. So I hope I can use it in the challenge :) please :halo: ?

Very inspiring work. Although not in the forest, this is a very nice fortification. The spiral staircase is very well designed. I also like the mottling at the top of the tower. These last minute entries have been great!
You would rather be building right now.

BTW, The Jolly Roger Contest 3 has been extended till 21st of May.

Hey,

I have to agree with others here, that stairwell is a thing of beauty.

I know, I grew quite fond of the spiral staircase technique myself and have used it in a couple of builds already. I have some pictures of the back too, but have yet to photoshop them. It involves a nice piece of snotting too, I'll post it later this week I think.

Well since Deiros is from Loreos, I've included a Loreesi in all my LCC creations :tasty:

The stairs are very cool, and I like that you built something a bit different than all the other entries, even if it was originally intended for a different contest.
