Dragon Black Market

Postby Dubbadgrim » Fri May 18, 2012 5:24 pm

Hey CC'ers

Just thought I would share my most recent MOC on here. I had an urge to incorporate both those old red chainmail minifigs and my old green dragon I had lying around into a scene. Not much of a storyline behind it, but I came up with the idea of a group of bandits having captured the dragon in the wild and selling it off to the Dragon Knights in exchange for cold, hard cash.

Also, make sure to look out for:

• A working drawbridge
• A old, drunken guard
• A fallen warrior from many centuries ago
• Four animals not including the dragon or the fish in the barrel (one is pretty hard to spot!)
• "The wrong arm"

The angled tower and the small hut caught my eye right off the bat. Nice build!

Love the concept behind the build! I like the overall execution of the concept as well, but I am confused about why the long dead warrior is underground. A burial?

Not entirely sure, I originally was going to have treasure under there but then decided on the skeleton instead. The logic was that he was a fallen soldier from an old battlefield, but hes unlikely to get buried over time by nature considering it's rocks and water, not sand !

I love the playability of this. The rough surfaces and brilliantly constructed castle just makes me want to play with it. I love the complexity you managed to fit into it though, with the angled tower and the drawbridge. Great work!
