Portal of the Waters

Postby Eklund » Sat Jun 02, 2012 1:25 pm

The Portal of the Waters is a skygate located on one of the many islands on the western edge of the Atlas Empire, though its exact location is not known by many. The guardian of the portal is a magician named Aquilus, who is also said to also be the creator of the portal. The portal is powered by the four magic-infused sapphires that lie within it. Aquilus is able to sense the intentions of those wanting to use the portal, and he will let them pass, as long as their intentions are good. If they are not, he certainly has the power to destroy them, then and there.

Built for the Legends of Brickdom Skygate Contest, though don't worry, I am still going to be spending more time on LCC stuff. I just love to enter contests and challenges.

I am going to tuck that arch technique away for future reference...
Very nice build, the angled rocks add a lot and the water works very well :)

Awesome man, you have some great technic to get cool details, like the end of the bridge and the arch of the gate. And also I like those translightblue "skull" pieces used both on gate and on staff. great job and good luck :D

Eklund, while you and I both know that your water technique is perhaps the easiest in the book, in my eyes, it is one of the best. You use it very effectively also. Great work mate!
