After a unsurprising victory at the coast-to-coast dogsled race, Rayth Wulfsbayne heads to his humble home built into the mountainside in a remote region of Westpass. His life is a simple existence, and one he is glad to have. Born a poor lad to a humble family of farmers in the southern reaches of Garheim, Rayth yearned for a more exciting lifestyle, and ran away at the age of 15 in search of adventure near the capital. After a few years of roaming the country, he became well-versed in wilderness survival, and took up an interest in dogsledding. He now runs several trap lines in the Westpass region and subsists on food he hunts and money from the furs he sells, as well as occasional income from guiding southern trade caravans through the harsh terrain of the North.
He is happy with his life, and since he lives simply with no ties to anything but his dogs, he is free to travel as he pleases, unbound from the strict plant-tend-harvest farming schedule of his previous life.
