After recovering from Agmund’s exploding barrel, we quickly determined that Agmund had escaped on horseback and so Kroth had the surviving soliders secure the area and with Lanseril his squire, the two entered into the cave. The cave rapidly descended down a slope and opened into an obviously man made cavern supported by four finely crafted pillars. The two search the room for clues. After a short while it was obvious that this was the home of the giant serpent, as was evidenced by all of the scratches on the walls. On the rear pillar Kroth found some old dwarven shorthand that was carved into the stone that contained the mark of Chalced a skilled dwarven architect that had been killed two years ago by bandits while traveling to Mikithdar. After identifying the mark, Kroth continued to read that there were directions to something a mile north of here that was labeled only as death. Kroth was pulled back into the moment by a call from his young squire who had been examining the ramp. It appears that the ramp has the ability to be pulled up by some mechanism.

Kroth quickly pulled Lanseril up into the tunnel and they began to try to move every rock, looking for some kind of hidden lever. After a few minutes, they found a lever that pulled the ramp up. The ramp formed a bridge that just went to a dead-end. The duo again looked for some kind of hidden latch an found something that they found that after moving a rock that they were able to slide open a hidden door at the end of the tunnel. Inside they found Agmund’s workshop, storeroom and move importantly treasure. The supplies and treasure will be a huge help to rebuild Havenhill.

....That's a lot of gold. Cool scene! The studless floor looks great, and nice use of the masonry bricks.
