51. The entry you linked to may have been created with an ldraw program. Digital entries (ldd or ldraw) are allowed. Keep in mind that you can only elements in colors that really exist.

I need to resubmit my link, I hadn't realised this was meant to be for the thumbnail. Who do I message? I also thought I'd submitted two figures so may have made the same mistake on both (only one is currently viewable)...

Thanks!

So, 'custom elements' are allowed in the Medieval Architectural Detail and Miscellaneous categories - does that term include painted parts & custom printed tiles?
In the other general categories are custom printed tiles allowed, or are they counted as stickers, i.e. only minifigure torsos, shields, and flags?

When submitting an entry what is the correct format for the 'image' url and the 'link' url? Is there a difference? Just trying to resubmit my entries due to a broken flickr link.

31 continued - When you've fixed an entry, inform us via the naughty list thread.

14 continued - Painted and printed tiles are 'custom elements' and are allowed in the Medieval Architectural Detail category. Not in others (except misc and the two custom fig categories)

52 - The 'link' url should be to a set of up to three images (Flickr set, Brickshelf gallery, MOCpage, etc). The 'image' url should be just the bare image. That one should end in .jpg (or .gif etc).

For the Daring Escape Catagory, does the character getting imprisoned (that's being used as a synonym of captured, right?), etc. have to be a bandit/robber (essentially, bad guy), or could it be, say, a traveling merchant/solitary knight/etc. getting captured by bandits (or something of the sort), then escaping, etc.?

Hmm. I seem to have a lot of etc.s there... :?

Is there anyway to remove an entry? Or will entries not fitting the category (In this case the Forest Life category) just automatically be moved to misc.? I only ask because in my entry "A Feast Fit for Thieves" I goofed and thought that in the Forest Life category you could include any custom parts. There's both BrickForge and BrickWarriors pieces in there. Sorry for all the hassle.

I used lightbrick in my CCC's MOC. Can I put smaller photo of the light switched on to larger where is switched off? I mean something like comics' board.
You wrote we will can do something like this, if we make working traps.

If your entry does not show up (after a reasonable delay), be sure to check the naughty list.
Hello, I'm sorry to be a bother but I have a quick question. I've tried various times to upload different entries and they just don't seem to appear anywhere in the "View Entries" section of this year's CCC. I’ve checked the "Naughty List" multiple times and my name is no where to be found so obviously my pictures have been resized correctly. I find this a bit strange as I've seen people who've said they uploaded theirs that day and it shows right up. To make it stranger, my first entry I upload appeared in the entries section for a few days and then it just vanished. I'm really quite baffled with all of this so I'd like your opinion as to why this is happening.
Thank you in advance and hopefully we can get this cleared up! :)

53 As has been said elsewhere above, the judges will take into account how well the MOC fits the spirit of the category into our evaluation. The category description does refer to the escaping figure as "bandit hero" and "rogue outlaw". Interpret that as you will.

54 - When needed admins will shift something over to misc automatically.

55 - Yes, that would be a good use of a small inset picture.

Okay, I won't make this a numbered answer since it is pretty specific and not something I'll be referring back to again and again. There are more categories of naughtiness aside from picture size. Your three entries are all listed under 'too many images'. The link should go to a mocpage/brickshelf gallery/flickr set that has no more than three images. Separate entries should go in separate brickshelf galleries. In your case, you created a brickshelf gallery and posted the first entry with three images, and it was approved. Then you added your second entry to the same gallery, which means that that gallery now had six images. So, not only was the second one not approved (and listed on the naughty list), but I went back and un-approved the first entry, since it is now in a folder with too many images.
We've been keeping the naughty list pretty up to date - aside from the Thanksgiving weekend when several of the admins were away or otherwise occupied things have been updated pretty much within 24 hours of being posted.

Bruce, you are a life saver! Thanks so much for clearing that up and I'm sorry for being a bother. Thanks again! :)

56 - Yes, you are allowed to build and discuss other LEGO creations aside from those related to the CCCX. In addition, you are allowed to do other activities unrelated to the CCCX, such as eating, bathing, and sleeping. You are also allowed to go to school or work, watch TV, read books, rake leaves, go for a jog, play basketball, do the dishes, shave, fold the laundry, sing songs, and stare blankly at the wall.
Except for Mark of Falworth. He is required to just keep building for the CCCX, 24/7, for the entire two months between the contest announcement and the New Years Eve deadline.
