CCCX Entry: Windmill

Post by Peter de Yeule »

Hi everybody  Here's my fifth creation for this year Colossal Castle Contest. It's a windmill but with a Persian or Arabian feel to it. I was inspired by the Persian civilization windmill in Age of Empire 2 for this one.

Awesome Job Peter! AOE is such a fun game, and you've captured the spirit of the game very well! :)

Very nice, it is instantly recognizable! I really like the tan trim.

I guess I have never played AOE, but I am a fan of the unconventional design. Great work on the different fields too!
You would rather be building right now.

Sweet windmill! Reminds me of some of the more 'modern' wind power designs; I had no idea this style went back to the middle ages. Those small palm trees are rockin' too!

Yeah, that windmill design is a real beauty. The different sections of farmland, the detailed architecture of the building and the various activities going make this build incredible. Well done! :)
