Here's a castle I have been building since my holidays in Ireland (back in May... I'm a very slow builder) and incidentally finished for CCCX
. It's inspired by Trim castle, a very large anglo-norman castle in county Meath.
In late 1330 after the downfall of the Mortimer, trusted men of the young king Edward the Third peacefully take over the forfeited castle.
As everyone knows, the Mortimer colours were green and gold (with a dragon) whereas those of the crown were gold and red
