New MOC: The Forsaken Monastery

Postby Reejoc » Tue Jan 15, 2013 7:08 am

I've been neglecting my Lego too much recently but have finally got round to making another creation:

The Forsaken Monastery, home to The Banished Monks has stood alone for a thousand years. Visitors are not welcome.

It has a complete interior - something that I haven't attempted for a while.

Top notch work! I love the texture of the roofing and the walls. The rock work is stunning and that is a creative way to do a wodden round tower. keep it up! :)

You really did a great job with the mottling and texture of the walls. The stone pathway is eerily similar to a project that I'm currently working on. Are you sure you aren't spying on me?? ;)

Whoa nice. You have done a great job with detailing your creation. the interior looks really good, you have included much in a small space and it dosen´t look crowded with stuff. Rock work and terrain awesome. The small details on the roof, tower and doors :eyebrows: , splendid job :D

Echoing everyone here, this looks great. What takes this from good to awesome for me is the details you have included inside! I have strayed away from interiors in many of my recent builds in order to focus on the exterior and what you have put together for this interior is excellent.

Wow! This is just stunning, what else should I say!
My favourite part is that small roof, it looks fantastic. But I don't want to forget to admit how awesome this rockwork and the stairs in it look!
Keep up the great work! :)

The stairs cut into the rock are cool. The 4L bars in the window are really cool too.

Lovely build. The rough and jagged look of the rocks is most impressive.

Awesome, like how you've integrated the wooden portions into the stone structure. Sweet interior too.

White walls fits perfectly.
Great interior is nice touch to the model.
I like that you used inverted slopes for rocks and made a realy stiff bumpy clif.
All roofs are different prooving your skills.
