[Moc] Forestmen's River Fortress Redux

Postby mpoh98 » Tue Mar 05, 2013 6:33 pm

Hello All! Here is my first of many entries into the MocAthalon 2013.

For the 2013 MocAthalon.

Team:Team Theocracy.

8. Redesign a Classic Lego Set.

Choose any Lego set released in the year 2003 or earlier and redesign it. Add more details, change the minifigures, smooth it out more, do what you want to make it your own! On your entry page, provide the set number and name of the set you redesigned. If you need help finding a Lego set to remake or set name/number, the center column titled "Sets released in…" sorts Lego sets by year released:http://brickset.com/browse/

As soon as I saw this category, I thought of one thing...CASTLE! The CCCX had the same thing, so I decided to try and build another one, except better. :D I found this one, and Bingo! :D Enjoy!

Wow, nice one. I particularly like the irregular shape of the tower.

Awesome. Definitely like how you recreated the printed brick pattern.

The sheer attention to detail is amazing. The water shading is brilliant and the drawbridge is really well done too

Incredible job buddy! Remember though, there's a limit of only three photos in each post on the Forum. :)

Excellent, perfect redux! One thing though, a suggestion, I would have used eaither the CMF Elf shield or the Forestwoman's shield rather than a Crownie shield. :)
