Samostrel Castel

I know many of you were expecting a huge siege scene, but I was saving this for GC4, and when I couldn't enter it, I decided to upload it. This is my biggest build yet, and I was able to include some new techniques I haven't tried before. This is also the first moc I have publicly exhibited. There happened to be a lego contest at my local library, so I brought this in for the kids to see. It was a lot of fun answering their questions and seeing their reactions.

Thanks for viewing!

Awesome castle! I love the style of it with the curtain wall and the timbered sections. Great job!

That castle is lovely! But you maybe should've added more rocks around the landscape to go with the large cliff against the wall and the rock river.

It's very nice. And very clean. I really like the arches on the inside areas

I agree with Tastymuffins and also really like the fence by the cows, the river, and the tudor sections.
And I found five birds :)

Great job on this. I think it's definitely worth the full complement of free build points for the month, so I'll make sure that you get 4 for this one. Don't forget to link to it on the Garheim page so that I don't miss it.

This is just all around fabulous. I especially like the cleanness of the architecture.

Wow, stunning work. The angles and Tudor sections on the castle are great. The contrast of the build is perfect as well. Fantastic job! :)
