I lived a decent life, full of working hard and trying to make a living. Out in the forest is where I call home now. With the recent purge by the Dark Lord’s army we were forced to flee for are lives from the castle. Here I’ve ended up, alone. Now I’m doing things, trying my best to build a new life full of prosperity and hope. I still believe…and I always will.

Nice use of the capes for the roof over the well.

Excellent scene! The stonework on the cottage and well are both excellent. The capes used as a roof and spider web used as smoke are both very creative.
Topnotch landscaping too :)

Like I said on flickr, this is really great!A very cozy scene over all. And I see photo collages for detail pics are getting to be very popular. I think we can thank brother steven for that.

Very nice feel to this. Nice texture on the cottage and I love the well. NPU on the spiderweb smoke.

A few minor quibbles if I may...

With the location of the chimney, I would expect the fireplace to cover part of the window below. It also feels like the grass shouldn't go right to the edge of the rocks. Maybe some dirt or weeds would enhance the build too.

LOVE the whole concept and the way you built it.

the hair as a nest was genius!

Interesting use of the capes... the house is quite detailed, i find that difficult to do without using 1 x 2 plates for the walls. 8)
