LCC - Merchant's Guild - J1 - "Battle in the Aine's River"

Postby SSchmidt » Thu Jun 13, 2013 8:05 pm

"Defending your caravan/fleet from outlaws/thieves."

As the party headed south, crossing the Aine's river, Schmidt had an uneasy feeling come over him. He felt as if they were being watched by someone who meant them ill harm.
And then it happened. From an outcropping of rocks, in this shallow section of river, Red clad knights burst forth, waving a gloriously colored banner, flashing their steel, ready to slay the party.

Schmidt barely had time to gain his thought, as he dropped the chest he was carrying and reached for the closest sword in sight.
Argus was already upon the knights, chopping them to pieces as if they were nothing more than parchment.
The battle was fierce, but was over in a few moments, with the bodies of the red clad knights wading lifelessly in the waters.
Argus bent down and examined the remains, letting out a sharp hiss.

"Dregger!"

"Who?" Schmidt asked.

"You have a new task lad! You are to head to Garstudia and kill Dregger once and for all! The nasty crime lord wilt continue to harass our every steps, the closer we come to Loreos. Find him in Garstudia, boy, and take his life!"

Schmidt, undressed one of the lifeless Loreesi knights, taking his armor.
He would need to go undercover for this mission, and he would need lots of help if he were to infiltrate a Loreesi city and assassinate a major crime lord. He would need the aid of someone who was quick, agile, and able to adapt to any situation.
One name popped into the mind of Schmidt.

I need to go see an old friend, Schmidt mused. I need to go see "Luke the Swift."

You can still post, you just don't get point for it.

Nice scene Schmidt. An interesting and original setting for a battle.
Less talking, more MOCing.

Nice one! The minifig action is great.
You would rather be building right now.

The minifig action is definitely excellent, and I really like the use of the loose 1x1 round water technique here. The rocks provide a nice contrast too :)
