After pounding west towards Ardon, the Lion Army got involved in a bloody skirmish in King's Grove that covers south of the Crown capital. Soldiers of all sides died, and the march went west, leaving those injured left behind to be carried off in the dead wagons...

A continuation of the Lion Kingdom invading the Crown Kingdom. This time, they've reached much further inland, approaching the capital. C&C welcome. :)

I'm not sure if I like the red pieces or traditional trans red pieces for blood better. Either way, I do agree with Justin M., it is quite gruesome! Still, I think it helps set the severity of the situation.

Thanks guys! Yeah, the last two scenes have been detailing the more morbid aspects of war. Once this story arc is complete, I'm sure it will be back to peasant hovels and manors! :wink:

I like gruesome! :)

Very cool creation - you can "feel" the aftermath of a large battle and the pain that goes along with it... well done! Looking forward to the next one~
