My entry for the outlaws bar fight challenge! its only required that you build a fig, but I decided to maximize the story I can cover with my free build and continue my characters story in this moc. Enjoy!

this was my first time working with any sort of SNOT floor too...

here is my character lurking in the background... :)

Alfarrin the FerretClaw and his friend travelled into a lenfald border town. There they decided to head to a local pub and find out what they could from the common folk who's tongues had been loosened by alcohol. There were plenty of people there, Garhims that were traveling south, Lenfels that lived in the town, a few Loreesi from across the border, and even a handful of other outlaws... More then Alfarrin had expected.

The half elf sat down at a small table in the corner of the tavern, and ordered a bottle of wine. Gothr stood nearby. He kept his sharp ears pricked for news... Gossip was common where townsfolk were common, especially drunk ones. Suddenly, a tough looking man punched the guy next to him and leapt on to a table, brandishing an empty bottle and charging the first man he saw in a drunken rage. Alfarrin decided it was time to go. He nodded to Gothr and casually began making his way towards the door....

As soon as they were out of town, Gothr asked what he had heard.

"The townsfolk are babbling like the drunken fools they are... Apparently, the queen is to be crowned in a short time, and afterwards there is to be a post coronation banquet. All the nobles are invited. But they know almost nothing about the queen, what her intentions are and whatnot. Also, there is an order that all attendees be unarmed. The factional leaders will all be there too. If the queen has the area surrounded and orders the nobles executed or commands then to donate troops to her cause or the like, it could be disastrous. On the other hand, she may be a perfectly good queen with the purest of intentions... Politics get tricky here, master dwarf... I do not trust her, but that is a tentative opinion..." He trailed off.

"So what'll we do now?" Asked Gothr.

"I shall attend the feast!" The half elf said. "But I will need a disguise... "

That torso works surprisingly well on a human fig. Great job going above-and-beyond what the challenge requirements were by building a whole scene for him. Keep up the good work!

Nice little vig! I've got 2 C&C items that might help it:
1. The studs on the table are bugging me. I don't have problems with studs, in fact I like them when they're used effectively; here however, since you went with the SNOT floor, the studs really contrast with the rest of the MOC. Cover that table with some tiles or plates/cups/food and I think you'd have something nice clean and consistent.
2. Lots of brown. Use some headlight bricks or clips in the walls to bring in some other colors by decorating with shields/weapons/barware/stuffed forest life/maps/etc.

"bar fight challenge".... might have to join LCC... :eyebrows:

The SNOT wooden floor is excellent! I also like the 1/4th circle table. :)

Exellent MOC! Works on all levels. Gotta hand it to the Outlaws for such a fun Local Challenge.
