Built for the Dark Age Illumination category. It looks a lot better in person, especially because I have a poor quality "studio" and am a horrible photographer - but surely the judges won't hold that against me
No finer blade nor stronger armor can be found in Roawia than those crafted by steady Dwarven hands. High in the mountains of Garheim, the Dwarves craft their mysterious metal into swords of unrivaled quality.

Very cool. I think you did a good job with this one!
Do you have a tripod or some way to hold the camera very steady? A tripod with delay timer so that you don't have to touch the camera to take the photo is one of your best friends when it comes to low-light photography (or so I've heard, at least )

That large panel you have in the middle is quite grand. This is really nice!

Leave it to the Dwarves to make things hot! I really like that you made the furnace open and huge. Great work!

Re: CCCXI - Dwarven Forge
Thanks a lot, guys! It took me a while to get the forge just right; now I'm glad I got that beach house set when I was a kid for those tall curved windows.
I'll have to try setting up a chair or a stool and see if that helps. Thanks for the hint!AK_Brickster wrote:Very cool. I think you did a good job with this one!

Re: CCCXI - Dwarven Forge
Yeah I actually often rest my hands on the back of a chair while taking pics at my desk just to take as much "twitch" out of taking the photo as possible (I'd have made a lousy surgeon, lol).
