GoH: Armathian Stronghold
GoH: Armathian Stronghold
Hello All,
Here is my entry into the GoH Book II Challenge I B. Built in a couple hours, this was definitely a challenge to get finished in time. I am not completely satisfied with this build, as it was rushed, but I am glad that I still got an entry into my first GoH Challenge!
Thank you ZCerberus for extending the deadline one more day, I appreciate it!
Enjoy!

In order to establish dominion over the mountainous regions, the Black Spire has set up countless strongholds to defend key positions. The Armathian Stronghold is built for strength and power, and has known no defeat. Now occupied and enhanced by the Black Spire, this stronghold defends one of the only passes through the mountains.

Yet another great build! Being about your age, I really hope I can turn out to be as good as you are in building, because none of your MOCs have disappointed me thus far. Great job again!

Lovely work Matthew! I hadn't realized the you joined GoH. I like the texturized walls on this build, not to fancy but not too simple either. The gate in the water is nice and you used that snake shield excellently!
Happy Building,
Sir Valiant~

Re: GoH: Armathian Stronghold
Wow man, this is definitely one of your best builds to date! That snake shield is awesome!
GoH is fun, but every time I try to build for it I just feel naughty. It makes me feel like I'm cheating on LCC
Glad you're enjoying your time over there!

Great job. Where did the tan masonry brick come from?

It isn't tan. It is light gray but probably photographed using warm yellow lighting from a lamp.royalbrickcustoms wrote:Great job. Where did the tan masonry brick come from?

Great build! I like the little round turret on the top!

Thank you for that nice comment! I am sure you will reach there, it is just a matter of time and learning, and pieces collecting.legoknight wrote:Yet another great build! Thanks Sir Valiant! Yes, I joined GoH actually in Book I, but never participated. That's changing now. : DSir Valiant wrote:Lovely work Matthew! I hadn't realized the you joined GoH. Thanks SSchmidt! Haha, yes, I will always build for LCC more than GoH, but it is fun to try something different, but still castle. : )SSchmidt wrote:Wow man, this is definitely one of your best builds to date! That snake shield is awesome!

Thanks RBC! Like AK said, the creation was under yellow lighting. I need to take pictures more in the daytime, and less at night, but with last minute entries, that isn't possible... :/royalbrickcustoms wrote:Great job. Where did the tan masonry brick come from?
Thanks Finn! I see you joined classic-castle!Finn Tegotash wrote:Great build! I like the little round turret on the top!
