Balin's Tomb

Hello All,

Here is my entry into the Middle Earth Lego OIympics over on Mocpages.

Barad Dur Bracket:

Category:
"A shadow lurks in the dark. We cannot get out...they are coming."

I am facing the very talented opponent Josh Walter, and his amazing entry.

Man, I have to stop with these last minute entries, they are robbing me of all my sleep. :P So this was built in around 3 hours, I did not get as much detail as I wanted, but I am alright with it.

So this is a creation from both my imagination and from the movie. The lines in the floor, and some of the minifigs were all from my imagination, but the rest I tried to stay true to the movie.

Enjoy!

Artistic shot, no photoshop.

Hmm, somehow I only saw the artistic shot on Flickr. Man, this is great. Love all the details, well re-created!

I guess I need to re-watch the movie. I don't remember this scene at all!

Great job though. It has an abandoned, cold feeling but the characters convey plenty of emotion.

Awesome work! I love the walls. Maybe it could use more scattered rubbish on the floor.
