Hey dol! merry dol! ring a dong dillo!
Ring a dong! hop along! fal lal the willow!
Tom Bom, jolly Tom, Tom Bombadillo!

Hey! Come merry dol! derry dol! My darling!
Light goes the weather-wind and the feathered starling.
Down along under Hill, shining in the sunlight,
Waiting on the doorstep for the cold starlight,
There my pretty lady is, River-woman's daughter,
Slender as the willow-wand, clearer than the water.
Old Tom Bombadil water-lilies bringing
Comes hopping home again. Can you hear him singing?
Hey! Come merry dol! derry dol! and merry-o,
Goldberry, Goldberry, merry yellow berry-o!
Poor old Willow-man, you tuck your roots away!
Tom's in a hurry now. Evening will follow day.
Tom's going home home again water-lilies bringing.
Hey! come derry dol! Can you hear me singing?

Well, I've wanted to do a minifig-scale LOTR creation for a while now, and since Tom Bombadil is one of my favorite characters from the books, I thought that it would be fun to build the scene where Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin visit the home of Tom Bombadil and Goldberry. Since this scene isn't in the movies, I designed Tom's house based on the book's descriptions and my own imagination. Thanks for viewing!

Ooh, I like that roof technique! The stone walls look nice too.

A nice, neat, colorful scene. I like the path lined with bley 1x1s, very fitting.

This used to be the most confusing part of the book while reading this when in my teen years. I like how you've done this, however. I like the house and the surrounding landscape.

WoW!

Now this is great. I love the texture on that building and the clear difference of the landscape.
Thumbs up! :)

Great job! I love all the stone texturing in the house! The tree is a little simple though. :D
