GC6: Gathering New Forces

Post by Buurli »

This is my entry to the LCC GC6 (unrestricted category). Enjoy .

Achmed, who was tired of the evil queen because she stopped his dealings: "We have to do something. Freedom and peace won't come here to Roawia just themselves. Now is the time to act and to get rid of Galanir! Once she's dead, we will have our peace."

Abdullah: "I agree. Galanir must die! Where will we start with the resistance?"

Achmed: "In Loreos Ultra, the famous naval base in the south. There it will be easy to gather people for fighting against the queen and there I have a small hiding place for all my smuggling goods, which we can use as weapon stash."

Image

Just arrived, Achmed saw it: The Female of Freedom!
The statue who stands symbolic for the freedom of Loreos. While Abdullah convinced people and gathered them around the statue, Achmed arranged some weapons.

Now, they all met in the catacombs, where Abdullah storaged all weapons, maps and everything else they needed to fight against Galanir.

Achmed, speaks to the people who have decided to stand together against the queen:
"Listen to me, folks!
I have a dream that one day all three nations will rise up together and stand together and hold together.
I have a dream that one day we ,the proud and strong Loreesi, also all Garhims, yes even the Lenfels, will be free from Galanir.
I have a dream that one day we will have peace in Roawia!
...
And this day is not far away... it will be in a week and 2 days, so prepare yourself for it!"

Loudly applause. All people took weapons and startet roaring. They then got in the ship and sailed toward Lenfald and southern Garheim to gather even more people...

Nice work! I like the bustling feeling in the town and the structure and buildings are great. That ship also is lovely, especially the brick-built sail.

Happy Building,

This work is fantastic. All your different colors go great here. The story is good and the palm trees outside the walls are just epic. Great work.

Hmm, the Yellowish backround seem odd, but nice overall build :) !

Thank you for all the kind comments and especially for the feedback about the yellow background. I don't think I will use it too often, but it is cooler than taking pics of a white build on a white background and yellow, light blue and green were the only other colours I had enough

I think a grey or a tan background could also work pretty well... I will have to try out this stuff some time :).

Wow! The coloring looks really good on the wall and the city, and the ship sail is amazing. Is the statue removable to reveal the catacombs?

Thank you! The statue isn't removable, but the whole city is modular, so you can split it in 4 parts. That way you can see the catacombs .
