An Unexpected Accident (Built by my little bro)
Built by my 12 year old brother.
Kendrick and Basil were walking by a river, Basil was jumping around on the banks as he always does, while Kendrick enjoyed the lovely scenery. Then Basil slipped off the bank and fell into the river...
Unfortunately the pictures are too large to post here, but you can see them here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=540858
My brother would appreciate any C&C

Re: An Unexpected Accident (Built by my little bro)
I hope Basil is ok! I'm sure he will make it through
Tell your brother those trees are fantastic, my favorite of his yet! I will have to catalogue those and use them sometime (with giving proper credit of course). He is a very impressive builder. My only critique would be to put the light tan bricks on top of the dark tan bricks on the bank of the river. This way it would seem as if the water had been hitting the lower bricks (which would be realistic, I think) making them a little darker from the water.
Looking forward to seeing more builds from your brother!

Re: An Unexpected Accident (Built by my little bro)
Once again your brother amazes me.
I love the water it has a very realistic feel to it. The rocks being tan was also a nice touch makes it a little more unique as most creations have gray, and last the trees are very well done.

This is great! The tree is amazing! Your brother is getting very good, can't wait for him to join LCC! (Make sure it's Lenfald ). I have to agree with SSchmidt on the riverbanks. All in all, very well done!

Re: An Unexpected Accident (Built by my little bro)
When someone says built by their little brother, I usually assume the creation won't be too good, but clearly, this build proves me wrong! The tan color scheme of the rocks looks fantastic and a nice escape from the usual grey/bley. The trees are also superb! I find myslelf wanting to build some like that.
For the might of Lenfald!

Re: An Unexpected Accident (Built by my little bro)
The trees and the rockwork are really outstanding. One piece of constructive criticism would be to have a more gradual transition from the tan rock to the green grass - it seems a little unnatural the way it is.
