LCC-Garheim LC18-Supply Train

Post by Kayne_ »

This is my entry for the large category of Garheim's LC18.

Deep in the mountains of Garheim, at an old forge in the valley, Gabriel oversees the forging of weapons and the distribution to his hidden forces in preparation for a possible uprising. This old forge was used by the Darkstar family for years when Gabriel was young, because the smithy was the best in Garheim. His son Rolf now runs the forge, but the quality has never missed a beat. With the rise of Galainir, and the fall of Darkstar keep, Gabriel is intent on bringing her down. Knowing what an outright revolution may do to the current situation, he cannot risk being caught by the queen. At all times, an archer is poised on high to watch the pass for anyone coming in, and the plans have been laid to quickly hide the weapons and armor and replace the barrels with horseshoes and kettle.

Patiently, the Garhim bide their time and ready for what is inevitable....

That's just cool! I appreciate the little details such as the ice forming on the water by the ice. The roof, how it slopes down more on one side looks kind of awkward in my opinion, though I've suffered that same problem before.

Great build! The archers look excellent and I love the way you did the frigid water.

Really cool!! I like the how the smithy looks in regards to it being attached to the house. The chimney is great and I really like the trees.

Thanks everyone! The little coloration in the wall is Dark Orange. Also, Derfel Cadarn and ZCerberus' Ye Olde Forge was the idea behind this. Obviously they build at a higher level though :D
