GCVII Entry (Vignette Category): Boundless Fury

So, here we have my GCVII entry, I'm pretty please with how it turned out.

A few notes- First off there is a very large gap in where we last saw Hans. I just haven't had as much time to build recently as I would have liked, but that doesn't means Hans' story hasn't moved along. I intend to show how he got to his point through some flashback builds in the near future.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The clamor of battle rang out over the city of Stonewald, the sound of steel and death crashing forward like a wave to assail the ears of all who would hear it. The cacophonous din carried with it all the false splendor of war as the armies of Lenfald met their hated foe in the streets of the Capitol.

It was in the epicenter of the city that the waves of sound parted before the avenging form of Hans Zarkan. The voice of blood and glory faded to a murmur in the background as the titan of the battlefield moved forth to meet his enemies. Wading forward through a mountain of corpses the soldier-of-fortune summoned fate with each swing of his sword. The mammoth blade Mordenstahl rent through the soldiers of the queen as if it were Mortality itself. Hacking, slashing, cutting, rupturing steel, leather, flesh and bone the greatsword wrought the men of the queen asunder. Nonetheless, it was not the blade that gifted terror unto the soldiers, but the man wielding it. Cold rage consumed him as he mechanically cut down all who opposed him, the overwhelming silence emanating forth and devouring all who stood in his path.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, that is Hans, he's just had a fig update since we last saw him in case anyone was wondering.

I've never seen that 'blood pool' piece used like that before. Nice, if gory, technique!
