An entry into The Best Intentions category of the Colossal Castle Contest. Another build based on the Peleg Chronicles.
Count Rosencross and many of his retainers are on their way to participate in the Games of Hradcany. On the way they set up camp near a small river. Elvodug and Flemup were preparing dinner when Flemup placed clumsily bumped a log from the fire into the edge of the cooking tent. The tent caught fire quickly and soon it was all that the men could do to keep the fire from spreading.

Nice job on the brick built tents, especially getting some variety between them. Gives a lot more options than cloth / fabric tents.

Thanks! I haven't done much with LEGO cloth or fabric so brick built tents were my first choiceDubbadgrim wrote:Nice job on the brick built tents, especially getting some variety between them. Gives a lot more options than cloth / fabric tents.

The tents are shaped perfectly!
Re: CCC XII Count Rosencross' Camp
Not bad at all!
I'm especially fond of how you used the color scheme from Knight's Tournament for the two tents, assuming that was intentional.
I actually have one I had planned to enter which consists of an ignited awning, but my friend didn't take photos of the finished submission until today(I don't have a camera).
May the best builder win, and may we both continue to aspire to appreciate Lego Castle for as long as it is available!
