The Battle of Stamford Bridge
The Battle of Stamford Bridge
This is an entry to the "Recreate History" contest and depicts the death of Harold Hardrada at the battle of Stamford bridge. Reference here. Btw, how do you like my editing? Not the best I'd admit. Anyway:
The cold wind blew as we fought desperately against the stubborn Englishmen, Harold fought like a giant
but later in the day as I fought by his side an arrow entered his breast! With a mighty effort we drove the
English back somewhat and I ran to his side but to late! I am afraid this is the end of our greatness.

The posing and background look great! Regarding the editing, I would download GIMP, then use a combination of magic wand and manual cut (with feather edges set to ~4 pixels) to make the edges cleaner. There's some pretty good tutorials out there, this was the first I found and one of the best.

Agree - it's a cool pic Like the little blurb below it as well.
Editing out the white "glow" around your figs can take awhile/be a bit tricky, but you'll get it

It's that white line around your photo...sort of separates your figs from the background photo

The blurb is the bit of a story you wrote beneath your scene.
