Yes, a half dead horse would be fine for the Beast category.

Hey Guys,
One question. Can non-members enter the contest? The reason I ask is that my son wants to enter some stuff he is building. He is only ten and therefore not old enough to join CC. So what is the policy? Either way is okay, he can live with not entering, but he is building some good stuff. Just thought I would ask.
Thanks,
Josh

The contest is not limited to members only. Your son may enter if he wants to.

Im entering a pair of Vignettes involving the Mongols into the CCC 2.
Im also thinking of putting up a Saracen (Arab) or Kwarazam (Persian) house being raided by Mongol troops.

Thanks, Lenny. I appreciate your quick reply. He will be happy, he has been working on several entries this weekend. I just hope he doesn't beat me out in any categories!Glencaer wrote: Josh,

I am happy that you like that. All of the admins are thrilled that our secret programming guru admin set it up for us In the future we hope to expand these easy submission types of pages for the creations and stories sections of Classic-Castle.By the way, the submisions page is great! Certainly better than the emails of the last contest.

Hey Guys,
I screwed up when I was entering my Outlaw Fortress Entry. I forgot to change the category, so it will end up in the Siege Weapons. How do I go about changing that?
Thanks,
Josh

I know this type question was asked previously, but the answer seemed quite vague.
Under the "three picture rule", am I allowed to take 3, (800x600 or smaller, obviously!,) images, and then take a few detail images, and embed them inside the 3 main images?
This isn't what I plan to do, but an example of what I mean was if I had a pic of a castle with the roof removed, and then took a pic of a detail in each room, and pasted them ontop of the original image beside each room to show the details that couldn't be seen otherwise.
Is that okay to do?
Thanks in advance!

I had to chime in here Jail-I believe the rule is you can only have embedded photos of things that move... like two pictures together of a trebuchet firing for instance.J1A3L5 wrote:I know this type question was asked previously, but the answer seemed quite vague.

several poses like with the roof off, or on, seems like they should each be in a separate pic.
of course i could be wrong.
