No indeed Forester, you are correct.

Partially, the wait is because Ben is downloading each and every image from the contest and saving them to the server for future needs. And he uses dail-up, so it takes a while ;)

Don't worry (though), we will announce winners soon!!

I hate to sound like the little kid in the back seat who keeps asking "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" but...

Are we there yet?

As far as I know, most admins have submitted their grades to Lenny to be compiled. We are probably a few days from announcing the winners. Keep in mind that I will have to make a webpage listing the winners and runners up also. Hang in there!

I will be the first to admit I am one of the last (if not the last) admins to finish grading. While I'm not finished yet, I only have two smaller categories left, and I hope to finish those by tonight (I've recently been able to set aside more time for C-C related work).

And now that my email works again (crosses fingers), I'll be able to send my grades to be tallyed up with the rest of the admins'. I'm not in a position to say exactly when we'll have the grades ready, but I can say with all sincerity that 'soon' really does mean soon.

Woohoo! I can't wait! I agree with Forester, a big round of applause to the admins. Grading all of those entries cannot have been easy.

For some reason my brain interpreted this as "a big round plate of applesauce". Either I'm too tired or too hungry right now. :?
