His entire website is just fantastic. I could spend hours examining some of the work that he has done, but this may be one of his best!! It is great to see someone combine two hobbies, history and LEGO!

Beauty.

Of course, this being Dr. Carney, how could it be anything but impressive?

Still, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

The Falcons! :D

Awesome; what else could it be, coming from Dr. Carney! Just look at all that dark grey! I especially like the corner; a great looking alternative to the usual alternating 2x's on the corner.

By the way, what's with the door in this picture? Is it a sticker, or a *shudder* clone brand?

D-man.

Occasionally Dr. Carney must modify certain parts to fit the accuracy of the moc.

He usually uses stickers, this is one of them.

He uses them for tudor frames, windorws, doors, and arrow slits.

There are not enough superlatives in a Thesaurus to do justice to this man's work. I am constantly in awe. And I'm please to see another Scottish castle added to his repertoire!

Alan

PS What's another word for "Thesaurus"?

Hello!

That's again a very nice castle done by The Docâ„¢. This time the amazement doesn't come from the sheer bigness of the structure alone but even more so from its beauty. And I like him to use the minifigs so well.

Vocabulary? Word pool? Treasury of words? Lexique? Wortschatz?

Bye

I have spent hours pouring over his creations. This is easily the most impressive body of castle Lego work. I am just as impressed by his system of storage! Check it out on his site. His basement is the dream of an AFOL, heck ant FOL!
Just look at it, what else is there too say except, "Its good to be the King!"

Amazing...all of them.

Couldn't imagine how much time this would take. Look at all the bricks, i didn't find a single wall piece in that one. Except for the corner wall pieces.

darkstarsk8er327, do you realize how old these threads are? You keep bringing back threadds from years ago to say stuff that doesn't really matter.

Not to mention that the links are dead by now. Lame.

He's responding to creations on the featured MOC page. Auchans is the seventh one down. Dr. Carney's site has moved, so the links in that feature and in this thread are dead. To see his Auchans, go here. All of Dr. Carney's castles are on his new(ish) site.

Thanks Bruce I was not sure which one it was, though I do love his website! The man truly has mastered using Lego bricks as a medium to make replicas of real edifices. His castles are spectacular.
