This is my first MOC with walls on all sides + a ceiling, so I didn't work much on the inside.
This is also my first MOC ever put online.
Very nice . I like how you built it so that you could open up various parts to see inside. Also the map inset into the wall in the entrance hall is a great idea.
My only criticism is the boring gray baseplate. I like how you add some vegetation at the base of the castle. Maybe you could extend that to cover more of the baseplate. Also, you could make a road/path leading up to the gate using some round plates in dark gray, brown etc.
I like that. It's a small but fine MOC. I like particularly the randomized look, it's not so plain and boring.

(P.S.: Are that newgrey parts incorporated in the structure? Some parts stand out quite ..erm... painfully. That's actually the part I do not like about your creation.)

I like the use of new and old gray, though sometimes it looks a BIT nerve racking.
I like the overall caslte. It has some cool detaisl like the map inset in the wall and the vegetation. It look like a fortress or outpost in the mountains.
I dont really have any critiscismsimsisim (man I hate that word:lol: )
anywho, it looks like what it is... a small, detailed, fun to play with MOC. I like the litte touches, and the way it opens up. It could stand a little more on the baseplate, but it's fine the way it is. Heck it could be guarding a plain or something.

The resemblance is striking, down to the windows and chimney on the tudor section, and the places the walls hinge open, the rocks on the side of the castle...
It could stand a little more on the baseplate, but it's fine the way it is.

Anyways, I do like it. The use of new and old greys looks pretty good.

Wow. I know i've seen somthing like that (or that it self) and wanted to build a tuter part like it and somthing that opens up. but I didn't know I made the structure so much like it. If I did, I probaly wouldn't have posted it.

It's NOT a waste of time. It's a great MOC. Much better than many of my first MOCs, and better than a few of my MOCs now. I actually like the way yours looks more than the way mine looks. Mine is kindah boring, since it's just one shade of grey. And, like the other people said, a bit of detailing on the baseplate would make yours look better. Just keep building and have fun. That's the whole point of LEGOs...
Also, one of the huge points of Brickshelf is to be able to get inspiration. A lot of the things I build are almost directly taken from other people. Just remember to give credit if you use something thats not totally original.
