Nice ideas AC.
You could replace the fences with the solid piece 48096 (I think) and build some very interesting walls or towers usign these ideas. The fences would be great for formal gardens outside the keep.

Most definitely appropriate for them and I intend to use some in an MOC that I'll be working on.

It's 30562 and that maybe fine from the top view. But there would be gaps in between the bricks at some connections. Gardens are what I had in mind for these.

Actually I was thinking of

I was thinking that this central shape:

Could be done with the solid pieces mentioned and create and interesting tower or tower top. I may look into it after my lego budget grows again.
