Good job, it's succeeded well I think.

The only thing I don't like, is the use of nonLego or customised pieces (excluded stickers). But it is allowed and only my personal opinion.

Everything is lego, some accessories are from "Red Bean Studios" and "Little Armory". The only thing really customized is the soft swords i cut to make them look like Greek swords, and of coarse spray painted them. I think they look better that way :D

Alright! The contest is now officially over. You all built some great entries; I am going to have a tough time judging them. I will have the results ready by the end of next week (I promise) :). And thank you all for the birthday wishes!

I am 31. And I had a great birthday! It started off crummy but ended very well. I spent the day putting up big sheets of siding in gale force winds and rain. :( Was in a bad mood and bummed out. Went home, got cleaned up. Then found out my wife pawned the kids off on my mom so we could go out to dinner. I stuffed myself on ribs, and got cool presents too! No Lego, but other stuff I wanted.

Thanks,
Josh

Sorry for being so late,
This was REALLY well done - the pieces, the terrain, the way the battle unfolded, the picture quality... I really enjoyed this battle. :D

Happy B-Day Josh!
lets limit them to ten pics per entry. I don't mind looking at a bunch of pics per entry but I don't really want to see in progress pics or plans.
Are you going to inforce this rule? I think we sort of missed this rule and it seems that many people (including myself) posted more then ten pics.

Hey Dan,

Just saw this on Brickshelf. The landscaping is outstanding on this. Very cool.

If we don't enforce the ten pic rule, then can't we use spacers? :P It's a matter of principle. Man, 31 , I'll be that old in 16 years(close enough). :D

So far I really like Jens' the most. Its big and massive and really reminds me of the Battle of the Pelennor Fields scene in the movie.
