Hey Dave, don't the rules state:
No impossible uses of pieces, no overabundant use of hard to find parts, etc.

That is only in regards to LDraw entries, because in LDraw you can stick pieces together even if they don't attach in real life. And you can build an army armed with 500 black swords. But if you actually have the pieces, use them.

lol, Josh, I know. That was entirely sarcastic. It's just that Dave has an 'impossibly' large collection.

Enter as often as you wish. However, I would concentrate on quality rather than quantity. That is what I will be focusing on in the judging.

PS. I am also taking Mr. D's suggestion. I hereby reserve the right to modify the rules at any point with no prior warning or notice. ;)

So, just to clarify, there will be no categories (such as Large, Medium, etc.)? Or are we to look to the previous thread?

Hey Admins,

Just wanted to make it clear that you are all more than welcome to join in this contest. I am sure none of you thought you were excluded but I wanted put out a formal invitation anyway.

You are correct, no categories. I think it made it too confusing and I didn't have enough prizes to cover multiple categories. :) I will be looking for the three best, regardless of size or type of battle.

Some more questions:
1 Are you allowed to use mirrors to make it look like there is a massive amount of soldiers. Because, I guess people could make tons of soldiers with ldraw so why not be allowed to use mirrors to make it look like tons of people.
2 Can the pics be of different stages in the battle, e.g. first a pic of all the armies lined up in formation, then a pic of them charging, then them in full combat? You could have the pics tell the story of the battle.
3 Are non-lego landscapes allowed (e.g. snow, paper mache, generally outdoors)?

Thanks
